Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Haptix, including the Haptix runtime, CLI, MCP server, and SDK (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Bault, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your payment card details directly. For billing questions, contact us at support@haptix.dev.

3. Description of Service

Haptix is a developer tool consisting of a macOS runtime, CLI, MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, on-device agent, and optional iOS/iPadOS SDK. The Service enables AI agents to interact with iOS apps running on physical iOS devices over USB. The SDK adds deeper integration for apps that embed it.

4. Licensing & Purchase

Haptix requires a valid license key to function. License keys are issued upon purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a license, you agree to pay the applicable fees.

Each license key is tied to a specific number of seats. A seat represents one developer and allows activation on up to two machines (e.g. laptop and desktop). The Haptix SDK has no device limit — a licensed developer can embed the SDK in as many apps and run it on as many test devices as they want.

Standard licenses include one year of updates from the date of purchase. After the update entitlement period, the software continues to function at whatever version was current, but newer versions require a renewal. Lifetime licenses include updates in perpetuity.

Haptix includes a 7-day free trial with full access before purchase. Because the trial is the evaluation period, purchases are generally final. If you believe you were charged incorrectly or bought the wrong plan, contact support and we will review the request case-by-case.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your license key and for all activities that occur under your license.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to gain unauthorized access to any device or system
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Service without prior written consent

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, documentation, and associated intellectual property, is owned by Bault, LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

7. Privacy & Data

The Haptix SDK operates entirely on your local network. Screenshots, accessibility data, and gesture commands are transmitted between your device and your Mac via WebSocket on the local network. No device data is transmitted to our servers.

For information about how we handle personal data related to your account and website usage, please see our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

The Haptix SDK uses private iOS APIs for touch synthesis. We are not responsible for any issues arising from changes to iOS internals across system updates.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, upon notice. Termination does not create an automatic right to a refund.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify customers of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
